It is with much regret that we inform speakers, partners, participants and the public that the Ninth conference, which was scheduled for March 21 & 22, 2020 has been postponed. The  Board has carefully considered the COVID-19 development around the globe and determined that attention is and should be focused on fighting the epidemic and its ramifications. Several noteworthy events around the globe have either been canceled or postponed. Hence, the Board found it prudent to reschedule the conference at a more appropriate moment in the future. Therefore, while we fully appreciate the amount of time and energy that speakers have put into preparing for the conference, we are confident that they and the public would understand the reasoning behind the decision to postpone the two days long “Colloquium on Post Conflict Election and Transition in Ethiopia.”  

Vision Ethiopia will do its best to organize a conference on the same or related theme in the foreseeable future. We hope that you will join us then to share your rich experience to advance  orderly transition in Ethiopia and peace in the troubled Nile Basin and the Greater Horn of Africa Region.
